education. So this organization
will launch different national and
international sports event in different
parts of Nepal as a charity for
this organization. This society
will also encourage to the village
and school levels for different
kinds of sports so that each community,
village and schools can understand
that the sports is the main basis
needed for educational development,
physical infrastructure and the
main bridge to get link with nationalto
regional level as well as international
level. In the Year 2007, PHISO is
organizing an InternationalMarathon
in Pokhara, which will be of a 110
KM race to be kicked off from the
naturally beauty and scenically |

to Poon Hill and from there the marathoners
will return back, tasting the staggering
lovely snow-covered peaks attracting at
the Annapurna Region.

The Poon Hill Marathon
is a 17-day Holiday package fun tour organized
in Nepal with combining sightseeing in medieval
villages of its capital Kathmandu, an enjoyable
and route exploring treks to Poon Hill,
Ghorepani, and would be one of the most
interesting marathon races in the world.
The main group confirmed to arrive from
Spain, USA and the rest who arrange their
own flight to Nepal should meet the group
in Kathmandu. To make a race of 110 km in
the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal is a glory
itself. It makes each participant a glorious
after the participation in this race. Before
the race, a preparation is needed to acclimatize
naturally to the high altitude problems
of Nepal and its steep up and down narrow
tracks. So before the events, the management
will organize 5 days “trek and run”
trip under medical supervision to each participant
for building confident and acclimatization
through its nature of trail and altitudes.
